SILVER SANDS / PRIVACY
Privacy, handled with discretion.
How your enquiry, communications and locally saved preferences are handled — and the choices you can make.
Updated 10 October 2026In this document
What we collect
- Information you choose to send: your name, reply contact, buyer or seller brief, budget, preferred area, property context and timing. Submitting the contact, seller or Private Collection form sends these details to the desk through our email service.
- Messages, attachments and conversation history you send through WhatsApp, email or another agreed channel.
- Browser-stored preferences described under Cookies and analytics. Hosting providers may receive network and request information needed to deliver the site. Fonts are hosted with the site.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry, qualify fit, and coordinate a follow-up conversation.
- To understand whether you are approaching Silver Sands as a buyer, seller, owner representative, developer, advisor, or collaborator.
- To prepare a more relevant response, arrange calls, schedule visits, create a shortlist, evaluate property suitability, and maintain continuity across conversations.
- To improve site performance, navigation clarity, accessibility, device responsiveness, loading speed, and security.
- To protect the site from spam, abuse, and fraudulent submissions.
- To comply with legitimate record-keeping, dispute prevention, legal, regulatory, tax, and compliance obligations that may apply to real estate introductions or communications.
Lead routing and communications
- The contact, seller and Private Collection forms send your submitted note to the Silver Sands email inbox through the delivery provider configured for the deployment. The endpoint supports Resend and Cloudflare Email; the provider used for a submission depends on deployment settings. If delivery cannot be confirmed, the page offers direct WhatsApp and email options. Those links prepare drafts in your chosen application; you review and send them yourself.
- We receive the information you send through your chosen communication channel and use it to respond to your request. The configured email-delivery provider, Cloudflare Turnstile, WhatsApp, email and hosting providers process the information needed for their services under their own privacy policies.
- Do not include identity documents, bank details or confidential title documents in website form fields or URL links. Arrange a suitable channel with the desk first.
Consent and marketing
- Sending an enquiry asks us to respond to that enquiry. It is not consent to unrelated advertising or an indefinite marketing list.
- We will seek separate, specific permission before sending optional marketing. You may withdraw that permission or ask us to stop non-essential follow-up at any time by emailing goasilversand@gmail.com.
- Withdrawal does not undo earlier lawful processing. Records required by applicable law or an active dispute may need to be retained.
Property confidentiality
- Seller information and documents sent to the desk are business information used for the requested service. Share only what is necessary.
- Every residence currently shown in the public and private catalogues is temporary fictional demonstration content while the collection is refreshed. Images, names, prices, specifications, availability states and map positions are examples; they do not assert that a real property exists or is represented by Silver Sands.
- Real opportunities must be confirmed separately by the desk. Owner approval and an appropriate basis to share information are needed before publishing real inventory.
Who may receive information
- Silver Sands team members and authorised representatives who need the information to respond to or manage your inquiry.
- Service providers needed for the requested purpose, including hosting, email delivery, security and communications; where a real engagement requires it, agreed providers for scheduling, photography, viewings or transaction coordination. No analytics or advertising SDK is included in this version.
- Professional advisors, transaction counterparties, banks, lawyers, chartered accountants, title specialists, or government and regulatory bodies where required for a genuine transaction or legal obligation.
- We do not sell personal information to data brokers or unrelated advertising networks.
Storage and retention
- Website-form enquiry messages are delivered to the desk’s Gmail inbox. We do not set a fixed deletion period or apply a regular deletion schedule, so messages may remain in the mailbox until someone manually deletes them or the relevant provider’s settings apply.
- We use enquiry messages to respond and manage related follow-up. We may retain specific records where reasonably needed for an active discussion or transaction, security, resolving a dispute, or meeting a legal recordkeeping obligation.
- Email delivery and mailbox providers may retain copies in deleted-item folders, backups or delivery logs under their own settings and policies. Deleting a message from our inbox may not remove those copies immediately.
- Documents containing sensitive property, identity, payment or transaction information should be shared only through channels agreed with the Silver Sands team.
Security
- We limit enquiry access to the people who need it for your request and use safeguards appropriate to the information and communication channel. Use our secure HTTPS website when sending an enquiry.
- No internet transmission or third-party communication service is guaranteed completely secure. Agree a suitable channel before sharing sensitive documents.
- We will assess and contain material data incidents and communicate them as required by applicable law.
India privacy compliance
- Applicable Indian privacy and data-protection requirements govern how information may be handled. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act and Rules have phased commencement; this notice does not assert that every provision is already in force or that a policy alone proves compliance.
- Where a law gives you a specific right to access, correct, withdraw consent, or raise a grievance, you may contact us using the details on this site.
- Because real estate inquiries can involve ownership and transaction records, some information may need to be kept even after a deletion request where a specific applicable legal, security or dispute purpose requires it.
Your choices
- You can ask us to correct inaccurate contact details or update your inquiry preferences.
- You can ask us to stop non-essential follow-up messages, though we may still respond to active transaction, compliance, or support matters.
- You can request deletion of information where continued retention is not necessary and lawful for a defined legal, security or dispute purpose.
Children and minors
- The website is intended for adults making serious real estate inquiries and is not directed at children.
- If a minor submits information, a parent or guardian may contact us to request deletion unless retention is legally required.
International visitors
- Messages may be handled in India or wherever your chosen communication and hosting providers operate. Their privacy notices describe their processing.
- Accessing this website alone is not blanket consent to unrelated processing or international transfers. Any transfer must meet applicable law.
Grievance and contact
- For privacy questions, access, corrections, erasure, withdrawal or grievances, contact Silver Sands Real Estate at goasilversand@gmail.com.
- Office: Calangute, North Goa. Telephone: +91 9899-90-9899, 10 AM–7 PM IST.
- We may ask for proportionate verification before disclosing, changing or deleting records. Applicable statutory rights and response requirements remain unaffected.
Changes to this policy
- We may update this policy as the website, contact process, hosting stack, email delivery provider, or legal requirements evolve.
- The updated date on this page reflects the latest published version.
Scope and responsibility
- This notice covers information handled through this website and enquiries to Silver Sands Real Estate in Calangute, North Goa. The contact details below are the route for privacy questions about our handling of your information.
- An owner, developer, lawyer, lender or other independent recipient may have its own responsibilities and notice. This policy does not make Silver Sands responsible for every organisation you choose to contact.
- A real engagement may require an additional notice explaining the specific documents, recipients and purposes involved. A general website enquiry does not authorise every possible transaction use.
Required and optional information
- The form identifies the details needed to deliver and respond to your enquiry. Optional information helps us understand your brief; you can keep it general and discuss details later.
- If you do not provide a usable reply address or number, we may be unable to respond. You can instead contact us using the published email or telephone details.
- Do not put passwords, payment card numbers, bank access details, Aadhaar copies, medical information or other unnecessary sensitive information into open form fields.
Technical and delivery records
- When the site or lead endpoint is requested, infrastructure providers may process IP addresses, browser and request information, timestamps, delivery status and security events needed to operate their services.
- The enquiry message includes a lead identifier, submission time, enquiry category and source page so the desk can route and recognise it. These labels do not constitute a credit score or automated eligibility decision.
- A delivery acknowledgement means the service accepted the submission. It does not guarantee that a member of the desk has read it, agreed to represent you or approved a property.
Information about other people
- Send contact details or documents about another person only when you have an appropriate basis to do so. Tell us if you are acting for an owner, co-owner, family member or client.
- Do not include unrelated occupants, visitors, staff or neighbours in photographs or documents sent for publication without considering their privacy and obtaining permissions where required.
- We may ask for confirmation of your authority and restrict sharing until it is clear. An enquiry does not establish a power of attorney or authority to sell.
Service providers and transfers
- The website enquiry workflow uses hosting infrastructure and the email-delivery provider configured for the deployment. The endpoint supports Resend and Cloudflare Email, with the active provider determined by deployment settings. Direct email and WhatsApp involve the providers you choose to use; their systems may operate outside India.
- Providers may process delivery, abuse-prevention and support records under their own terms. A link to their policy does not replace our responsibility for the information we control.
- Any transfer or engagement requiring additional safeguards must follow the law applicable at the time. This notice is not blanket permission to transfer information for unrelated purposes.
Retention decisions and deletion
- We do not currently set a fixed deletion period or regular review interval for enquiry emails. They may remain in the desk’s Gmail inbox until manually deleted or handled under the relevant provider’s settings.
- We use messages to respond to enquiries and manage related follow-up. Specific records may be retained where reasonably needed for an active discussion or transaction, security, dispute resolution or a legal recordkeeping obligation.
- Deleting an inbox message does not necessarily erase copies held in deleted-item folders, backups, delivery logs or other provider systems. Those copies are subject to the relevant provider’s settings and policies.
- You can ask us to delete enquiry information using the channels in “Making a privacy request.” We will assess the request against any applicable need to retain a record and explain if information must be kept.
Making a privacy request
- Email goasilversand@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request” and tell us whether you want information, a correction, withdrawal of permission, deletion or help with a grievance.
- Provide enough context to identify the enquiry, such as the email address used and approximate submission date. Do not attach identity documents unless a proportionate verification method has been agreed.
- We may verify that a request comes from the person concerned or an authorised representative before disclosing records. Verification must not become an unnecessary barrier to exercising a right.
- Where applicable law gives additional rights, including information about processing, nomination or escalation, those rights apply according to their scope and commencement. We will not use this notice to narrow them.
Withdrawal and your choices
- You can ask us to stop an enquiry or optional follow-up by using the same published contact channels. An instruction to stop advertising does not require you to abandon an active service request.
- If information is necessary for a requested introduction or transaction step, withdrawing permission may mean that step cannot continue. We will explain that consequence; withdrawal itself is not a penalty.
- Correction, deletion or withdrawal requests do not change earlier lawful actions or records that applicable law specifically requires us to retain.
Automation and artificial intelligence
- The enquiry workflow categorises messages as buyer, seller, private or general to organise the inbox. These categories do not make binding decisions about your eligibility or the value of a property.
- The current property imagery is illustrative AI-generated imagery. We do not ask you to submit personal information for image generation through these enquiry forms.
- If a new analytics, marketing, profiling or AI processing purpose is introduced, the relevant notice and permissions must be reviewed before using enquiry information for that purpose.
Incidents and unresolved concerns
- If you believe a message or document has gone to the wrong recipient, contact the desk promptly and identify the message without repeating unnecessary sensitive information.
- We will assess and contain a relevant incident and notify affected people or authorities where applicable law requires it. These documents do not guarantee that an incident can never occur.
- If a response does not resolve your concern, you can request escalation through the desk and use any applicable statutory complaint route. You do not waive those routes by using the website.
Changes in handling
- We will explain a material new purpose, recipient category or data collection before applying it to your information where additional notice or permission is required.
- Continued browsing alone is not permission for unrelated marketing or a new use that requires consent.
- The updated date identifies this notice’s revision. Keep a copy of the notice or specific communication relevant to your enquiry if you need a record.
External message links and draft privacy
- Opening a WhatsApp link passes the text embedded in that link to the external service to prepare your draft. Your browser, operating system or chosen application may process the link before you press Send. The desk receives the resulting message only if you send it, unless you have separately submitted the website form.
- Email links prepare a subject and message in your email application. Draft storage, synchronisation and delivery depend on your application and provider. A draft is not a confidential document-transfer facility.
- Avoid personal or confidential information in page addresses, search links and referral parameters. An enquiry can include its source page address; addresses and parameters can also appear in browser history, infrastructure records or an external draft.
- You can edit the prepared message or start a fresh email or telephone conversation instead. Closing a composer does not erase technical records that an external service has already created.
Delivery errors, duplicate messages and corrections
- A successful submission confirms acceptance by the delivery service, not that the desk has read, verified or agreed to act on the enquiry. Automated filtering may reject or suppress abusive or invalid submissions.
- A timeout or error can occur after a delivery provider has accepted a message. Retrying or switching to a direct message can therefore create duplicate records; tell us if a submission is a correction or repeat.
- We may use the enquiry identifier, category, source page and submission time to associate related messages. These administrative labels do not establish your identity or authority to act for a property owner.
- If you notice a wrong recipient or incorrect detail, contact the desk with the original reply address and approximate time. Do not repeat passwords, banking information or other sensitive material to explain the error.
Security checks and delivery providers
- The lead endpoint supports Resend and Cloudflare Email; configured delivery and fallback settings determine the provider used for a submission. The selected provider and recipient mailbox process the message and delivery metadata needed to route it; this notice does not promise that every provider has identical retention or processing locations.
- Every accepted website form submission requires a Cloudflare Turnstile verification token. The form sends that token and, when available, the client IP address to Cloudflare for verification; Cloudflare may also process browser and device signals to help distinguish legitimate requests from abuse. See the Turnstile Privacy Addendum and Cloudflare Privacy Policy. This security check is not permission for unrelated marketing.
- Enquiry information reaches the desk’s email inbox, which uses Gmail for the published address. Email delivery and mailbox storage are separate processing steps. See Resend’s privacy policy, Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy for their own services.
- Provider notices explain their services; they do not transfer our responsibility for our own handling of enquiry information. Contact us to ask which delivery or verification route applied to a particular submission.
Purpose limits and the basis for handling
- A requested response, optional marketing, fraud prevention and a legal record requirement are distinct purposes. Information needed for one purpose is not automatically available for every other purpose.
- Where consent is required, it must relate to the identified information and purpose. This notice is not a claim that a broad “legitimate interest” allows every use under Indian law, or that sending an enquiry waives your privacy rights.
- Where another processing basis or a disclosure obligation applies, its actual legal conditions must be met. We will consider requests to explain the purpose, recipient categories and applicable basis for information we control.
- Property particulars, photographs and transaction files can contain personal information about owners or occupants. Removing a name alone does not necessarily make an address, image or combination of facts anonymous.
Retained records and business changes
- If retention is needed for a specific dispute, legal obligation or security incident, it should be limited to relevant information and reviewed when that need ends. A possible future commercial opportunity alone does not justify keeping every enquiry indefinitely.
- A copy retained for a restricted legal or security purpose must not be treated as an active marketing contact. Redaction or separation of relevant fields may be appropriate where complete deletion is not available.
- If responsibility for the business or an enquiry record changes through a restructuring or transfer, any sharing must have a lawful basis, appropriate safeguards and notice where required. This policy does not authorise sale of your details as an unrelated lead list.
- Our retention decisions and the separate retention arrangements of mail, delivery and backup providers may differ. Ask the desk for the applicable explanation for your record; we do not invent a single deletion period for systems we do not control.
Request outcomes, representatives and accessible contact
- A representative may raise a privacy request with suitable authority. We will avoid disclosing another person’s records until identity and authority are proportionately established; excessive identity-document collection is not the default verification method.
- Tell us if you need a different contact method or accessible explanation. Use the published telephone or email if a website control is unavailable. A technical fault does not remove an applicable privacy right.
- If we cannot act on all or part of a request, we will explain the relevant reason to the extent legally permitted and identify an applicable escalation route. A request for clarification must not be used to evade a statutory response deadline.
- Any access, correction, erasure, withdrawal, nomination or complaint right applies according to the law governing the processing and the provision’s commencement. Contacting us first does not surrender an available statutory remedy or require you to pay a complaint fee.
