A clear fee.
A considered sale.

An accepted seller mandate sets a 1%* seller fee. Buyer advisory is a separate 1%* fee under an accepted buyer mandate. Each written agreement states the fee basis, scope, timing, taxes and exclusions.

A commission is one part of a transaction’s total cost. Under our standard accepted mandates, seller representation is 1%* for the seller and buyer advisory is a separate 1%* for the buyer. Compare actual written scope and costs instead of assuming another provider’s rate.

How the two fees are agreed

Each provider sets its own fees and service scope. Ask for written terms that identify who pays, what work is included, timing, taxes and exclusions.

Our standard seller mandate sets a 1%* seller representation fee. Buyer advisory is a separate 1%* fee under an accepted buyer mandate. Each written agreement states its client, scope, fee basis, payment timing, applicable taxes and exclusions.

Aligning Incentives

A percentage alone does not tell you what service is included. Read each agreement for the work, fee basis, timing, exclusions and any conflict disclosures.

The seller’s accepted written mandate sets the asking-price approach, representation scope and permissions for sharing details. Buyer advisory is a separate engagement with its own written fee terms.

Further questions.

Are there costs outside the 1%* fee?

The accepted mandate states the agreed broker fee and its scope. Government charges, applicable taxes and independent professional costs are separate; review the written terms before accepting an engagement.

Does Silver Sands charge buyers a fee?

Buyer advisory is a separate 1%* fee under an accepted buyer mandate. The buyer’s written agreement states the scope, fee basis, payment timing, applicable taxes and exclusions.

How do the standard fees compare with another provider?

Our standard written mandates set a 1%* seller representation fee and a separate 1%* buyer advisory fee. Rates and services elsewhere vary. Compare actual written terms, scope, taxes and separate professional costs before choosing.

Is a 1%* commission standard in Goa?

No single percentage should be assumed across providers. Silver Sands’ standard mandate sets a 1%* seller fee and a separate 1%* buyer fee, each subject to that party’s accepted written agreement.
